I stayed here for one night. It was my husband's birthday and there was a small cake waiting for us, which was a surprise to both of us. I'd asked for the nicest room they had - they gave us a free upgrade to a suite. They allowed us to check out an hour later for no fee. The room had free wi-fi and there were free snacks in reception all day. The staff bent over backwards to help in any way they could - I would highly recommend a stay here.

we dropped by the bar at the hotel on the recommendation of a friend and despite the very empty saturday night street, were pleasantly surprised at what we found inside.
getting to the bar required walking through the ornate and exotic hotel lobby. entrance, indeed!
the bar is reminiscent of a resort bar with tables nestled into little pockets near the shrubbery around a coffin shaped, color-changing pool. very romantic or perfect place to bring fascinating guests who you'd actually like to speak with all night.
not a scene-y place by any means. a fresh breath of air.
they closed up a little early, which in l.a. means you're back on the hunt before the clock strikes two. luckily, it's right across the street from the 24 hour eatery, the pantry.

I have had my fair share of bad, rude, and incompetent companies. But belive me, these guys is not one of those. They were wonderful. They managers and workers made eveything so easy. Everything was always left clean they way it was found. Not once did i have a problem with them. Not only that, but the work looks wonderful!! Thanks guys! I'm definately planning on calling them back again when needed.

I stay at the Omni each time I'm in LA for business. I'm a "Select Guest" and the extra benefits this program offers are outstanding (priority check-in, late check-out, complimentary beverages and newspaper, turndown service). The staff even remembers me each time I come back and knows that I like extra pilows in my room! Great value too! Great location - close to Downtown business offices.

The proprietor Dianne Bennett seems to have ALL of Los Angeles and Beverly Hills happenings', DOWN. And she is very willing to share that info with the patrons! I was buzzing all around L.A. and had an amazing vacation. The rooms were recently remodeled and were very clean, nicely decorated and had huge TV's. I knew when I booked the room that the breakfast was "make your own" and that was OK for me, as I saved a FORTUNE, over staying at a conventional hotel. The house is beautiful and I felt special staying at a re-furbished Mansion, worth at least $2,000,000! I'm in real estate and I know the prices! Stay there it's a great deal!
Pros: Location, and price!
Cons: None

Great place to stay! Everyone is very friendly and helpful, our room quiet (it was memorial weekend...very busy, but we requested a room at the end of the hall), and the Twist restaurant was surprisingly good! We eat very healthy... and we were not disappointed! Omelets, fruit, oatmeal (and lots more...) for breakfast, and they had a great dinner menu, most of which looked very good -and- healthy. However, they have a dinky little fitness room (I think the Roosevelt, which is just down the street, has a big, newly renovated one?). We went to the LA fitness club which is just two blocks down Hollywood Blvd (meh... $20 for one day?...) to work out. Overall, I'd definitely come back, because of Twist. (on another note, if you're going to the Pantages Theatre...take a taxi, it's a bit of a walk).
Pros: Friendly staff, loved Twist
Cons: Fitness "room" (literally, its just a room)
