I wish people would just stop going there. I am speaking from experience. Starter, brake jobs, water pumps, you think I would learn. After brakes that last about 7000 miles, TWICE, a starter going bad, and incorrectly installed TWICE and taking my car back to get a water pump replaced four times, you think I would learn. I finally did, funny... now my brakes have lasted over 10000 miles, still the same starter, and my water pump doesn't leak. DO NOT HAVE PEP BOYS WORK ON YOUR CAR, THEY'LL BUTCHER IT!! worst case scenario, it will wokr for a while, but the cheap parts quit all too soon.

I've been to Discount Tire for my oil changes twice. Not only are their prices reasonable, they are also fast! Located on Arroyo and Bellevue, they are close to Old Town. If you check your Yellow Pages, you might just find a coupon. I think I paid about ten dollars for an oil change here! Stand by their work. Had to go back for something and they fixed it at no cost. Good pricing.

This place has a good selection in stock, they have a great warranty on their tires, and you can run across the street to Jan's to grab a bite while you wait for your tires to be ready. It's worthwile to pay extra (I think it's about ten bucks) to get the warranty, because then they will fix your flats for free for the duration that your tire has tread.
