Hey, did you know that they opened a new Yai's on Vermont? That's actually the name, "Yai's on Vermont" They totally have better parking since it's in a huge lot next to Rite Aid. However, at first I got lost because I was trying to look for it on Hollywood Blvd. since that is the cross street! But the restuarant itself is on Vermont. The food is still great, I think that they moved the cooks over and the ambiance is WAY better than the one by 7-11. It's still cash only though, but hey, you're across 4 banks so just be prepared. Put it this way, if you want to entertain friends, then go to the new one. It's nicer, BIGGER, and has a better appeal to the NEWBIES. BUT if you don't care and want great food, then definetly go to the OG one. You will not be disappointed. 1627 N. VERMONT and HOLLYWOOD in the FAT BURGER center.
Pros: BETTER PARKING
Cons: GO FOR DINNER BECAUSE IT'S RELAXFUL

Found this place new on Citysearch and I gave it a shot. It is now in my standard rotation when I am responsible for "cooking". Some serious spice to the curry is a treat and I love when I call and the person who answers easily takes my order and I get exactly what I order in less than time than they promise. This is my new Thai place for the foreseeable future.
Pros: The Food and The Service

I've been going there for years. Love their chicken satay and Tom Yum Goong Soup. The prices are very affordable, and they are the most favorite for those UCLA students. Despite its small size, it's worth a visit because their food is consistantly delicious. The delivery guys would not disappoint you cos they are always on time. Food is nicely wrapped too.
Pros: Tasty Thai food, resonable price
Cons: Not enough parking spots available around the area

For my birthday this year I decided to treat myself to a Thai Massage. I was tired of going to places like "The Massage Place" where I left feeling ok but not really relaxed. I got the info from city search for Wat Po and made an appointment for an hour massage. When I arrived I was happily greeted, taken to the massage area and changed. My massage therapist Metu (sp?) was very nice and he gave an amazing massage. He stretched my muscles, walked on my back, massaged, etc. He's a thin guy so me being 5' 7" and 130 bs, he didnt crush me...lol. Im glad I checked city search and booked with Wat Po. I would highly recommend the place but dont expect to enter some Beverly Hills Day Spa. It is a modest place in a shopping enter in West L.A. The experience you get and relaxed and rejuvenated feeling you have when you leave is much more important. You cant beat $45 for an hour of pure relaxation!!! My back was in a terribly achy state and the massage relieved it so much! I will be going back very soon and hopefully at least twice a month from here on out!
Pros: Very nice staff, great massage, great value, clean atmosphere
Cons: Parking in the shopping center is limited

I have been going with my family to Vim's since I was 5 years old and let me tell you, the food is so good...It has the best Thai spices possible. The sea food soup, by the way..is their specialty. It has the most tasteful sea food available and it not only appeals to your taste, but to your nose and eyes as well. The food is great..and I think it deserves more than just the seventh place!!
Pros: inexpensive, good food!, great service
Cons: crowded, bad parking, bad location

Excellent food at a very reasonable price! I ate here today for the first time today and will defiinitely be back, I got Pad Thai to be safe, and it was very good. I have a big sweet tooth so I ordered Thai tea and a piece of chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was packaged and was decent, probably won't get it again though. Oh yeah, and my food came out super fast, less than five minutes. This is a great spot for lunch. Parking might be difficult in this area but the parking Gods favor me and I got a spot at the door.
Pros: price and flavor, cute joint
Cons: maybe parking
