Although often crowded, they mix a mean martini and serve delicious appetizers. Dinner is wonderful as well, but I'd make reservations. Their martini menu is quite extensive. I can't wait until my next happy hour there. It's an eclectic mix of people, nothing too intimidating.
Parking on the streets in limited, so I'd suggest using their valet service.

Lola’s is a cool spot to hang out with a group and throw back a few drinks including there off the chain martinis. You can also mingle with the ladies or just chill with the fellas at the bar. It’s a relaxed atmosphere with a mixed crowd that often gets crowded on the weekends

We went here for yet another happy hour and had a great time.
The martini selection was huge and they had good happy hour appetizers and martinis. The bar itself is bigger than the usual bars around here in LA, there is three separate rooms with the pool table room in the middle and a full bar in the first and last room. The decor is very comfortable with lots of reds and golds. It is a fun place just to hang out after a long day of work or a place to wind down after a night of clubbing.
I would go here again and lounge.
