I went to dinner here last week from a recommendation of my roomate. The first thing I noticed was the luxurious and friendly atmosphere that went around the entire restaurant. Your choice of your own toppings and style was an added plus. Unique designs and thrilling pizza combos found me at the menu, and what I finally ordered was delicious. The price was almost negligible, and the wait time (around 30 minutes) was well worth it. This is a very neat restaurant if you are ever looking for pizza, and don't want the generic pizza hut or dominoes.

They have some good lunch deals sometimes. On Tuesdays you can get an all you can eat pasta, salad, soup, etc. for about $7 or $8. Otherwise, the food here is just okay. I like their buffalo wing appetizers. The ambiance is also very good. It's a family place but there's also a bar upstairs so it can be a very college type of place. Fun to head to during Angel Games. Go angels. Light up that A.

I used to walk here from UCLA med. center on breaks at night and grab a bite to eat. They sell pizza by the slice in the range of $2/slice which isn't bad since it's really good. Since Lamonica's is in Westwood the parking isn't great but they do deliver. The owner really does have a red Lamborghini (explains the drawing on the menu), I've seen it!

College food definitely. As an undergraduate bruin, i was always frequenting this place. They have a thin crust but the pizza is really good. I especially love their ground sausage. Now that i'm a little bit older and more self-conscious i would probably feel really guilty eating more than a single slice of this but if you go, get the sausage pizza, it will not dissapoint.

With a thin crispy crust reminiscent of Old World Italy, and plenty of your favorite toppings piled on, eating at Lamonica's provides you with the experience of enjoying New York-style pizza without leaving Southern California. Sometimes it's the best! The Sicilian Pizza is cheesie and really good. Lamonica's decor is that of a NY subway station. If I am not mistaken, the owner brings in the dough from NY because the water here is not good for making pizza dough. The downside is that the guys who bake the pizzas do not know when to take them out of the oven. The result is that the cheese is on the brown side. Overdone for NY pizza. Pizzas with toppings don't burn as much. Solution: If you buy a whole pie, ask that that they take it out of the oven before the cheese gets too brown; especially if you are going to take it home and REHEAT it. A better NY place (argueably) is Village Pizza in Larchmont Village.

Lamonica's is a small pizza pub, where pizza is made fresh and served by the slice. A single slice costs only $2 and there are many toping/style options available. This is a New York-style pizza place, and my fiance's coworker from NY claims he is back home when he is here. My fiance's favorite slice is the Sicilian pizza they make, and I don't blame him. It is different from the other pizzas they make as it has a thick deep pan crust - the kind made perfectly with a crispy outer edge, but a slighly doughy "mama's-fresh-loaf-of-bread-just-came-out-of-the-oven" texture. It looks just like a pepperoni pizza slice but once you sink your teeth in, you'll see why it is so much more! Parking was very difficult to find though, and bring your cash as your plastic is no good here. All we wanted was a cheap piece of pizza but we found that parking options in the area were at least $5. Obviously not into that, we drove around a while until we found a bank, and a free spot to park on a residential street. Man o man, we certainly had to go through a lot trouble just for a few slices of pizza, but our tastebuds thanked us!
