i called and ordered to go and asked the waitress what i wanted. Since she didn't really speak english i had to say it to her a few times to clarify. when i got there to pick up my food, she gave me the wrong thing. When i pointed that out she said it was my fault, and blamed everything on me. She refused to give my money back or exchange anything even though i didnt even touch the food. I remined her about our conversation and she blamed me again for not being clear enough even though i said it MORE THAN 3 TIMES. I throw the sushi away, walked out and looked back to her holding a satisfyed smile. How can anybody treat a customer like that? I was so nice about everything and all she can do is refuse to give back 3 dollors?
Pros: not bad sushi, kinda cheap
Cons: VERY BAD SERVICE

This sushi restaurant is the ideal place to go if you have a quick sushi craving that you need to satisfy and don't necessarily want to pay a lot or care about the ambience. Each plate is 2.50 + tax and they accept cash only as far I know. My friend and I went and we were semi-hungry and ordered 8 plates of sushi and were full for around 22 dollars without tax. Each cut roll only has around 4 pieces so you are going to have to order multiple plates. Their spicy mayo is conveniently placed all around so you don't need to ask for it! They have their sushi chefs preparing the sushi right in front of you as well and handing you the dishes you ordered. I recommend the Dynamite and Spicy Dynamite roll as well as the spicy tuna tempura roll. It's very quick and casual, and the parking structure is adjacent to the place.
Pros: quick and cheap
Cons: can get crowded at peak times

When you're in the mood the save money and not feeling ravenously hungry, Sushi Mac is the place to go. It has great, mini portioned plates of sushi and roll pieces (either 2, 3, or 4 pieces per plate) that are priced at a few bucks. It's a very communal environment where everyone sits around the counter, waiting for their food.
Pros: cheap prices, yummy sushi
Cons: not too filling, small space

We love this place when we want cheap sushi that is also good. It's fun to watch at the counter and we definitely like the bill when it comes!

First of all... the price is now $2.75 a plate, but that's neither here nor there. Here's my beef - I'm not a picky eater at all, and can't really tell the difference between alright sushi and fabulous sushi... but after eating at this place, I now know what HORRIBLE sushi tastes like. Their tempura rolls are cold b/c they were fried like 20 minutes before you even placed your order... which means by the time it gets to you, it's cold, soggy battered shrimp. The sushi rice is hard, like if you left a bowl of rice in the fridge uncovered for a day. Their answer to everything is spicy mayo... and get this... they have edamame already separated in individual bowls, ready for the moment you order it! Who knows how long it's been sitting there. Disgusting. Only people who don't have a clue about sushi would like this place. MY SUGGESTION FOR DECENT CHEAP SUSHI: Daichan Kaiten. It's across the street, in the Olympic Collection center, upper level. It's a revolving sushi bar ($2 per plate). Quality is better, cost is cheaper, & there's more variety. And way better atmosphere.

The sushi quality isn't as good here as it is at other places. This is because they advertise low prices. They raised the price from $2.50 to $2.75 since the last time I've been there. Even though the price is cheaper than most other sushi places, the portions are small and the price adds up.

By no means is the sushi here world-class, but it's totally decent for $2.75 a plate. Your meal is charged based on the stack of plates, and there's a giant chart on the wall that helps you figure out how many plates your $20 will get you. It's cash only so bring those 20s! The music they play is loud and generally really good. It can get crowded, even during the week, and there's only one gigantic U-shaped sushi bar to sit at. I've taken a few dates here but they were definitely casual dates. :)
Pros: decent and cheap, cool atmosphere, loud music
Cons: no privacy, wait for seating, loud music

ONLY UNTIL THE END OF SEPTEMBER, every plate of shushi is $2.50; it increases to $2.75 in October You order any kind you like, keep your plates, and they literally count your plates on the spot and charge you accordingly, no taxes included. The service is great, and the food definitley isn't bad. Oen of the most popular sushis is the dynamite roll, basically a california roll baked with a creamy, slightly spicy sauce on top and served hot. A self-serve thermos of hot green tea is nice as well.
