I'm extremely disappointed with the quality and taste of the food.
I had the shrimp spaghetti. the spaghetti were as if they were just cooked in water, and thrown on a plate. Had no flavor whatsoever, and on top of that they serve you what seems like a sample size plate.
The tomato sauce seems like an imitation of what a can tomato sauce is.
I would not recommend the place, the atmosphere is nice, but it was a waste of my time and money.
Pros: Ambience
Cons: Everything Else, Parking, Service, Food

this is a great place for people who like curry but might not be an expert. I thought the food was great and i am very picky on Japenese food. I would recommend the Tokyo curry, but the portion of this meal is smaller than the others. Also top it off with the green tea ice cream to make the meal complete. The parking outside was horrible and I had to end up parking in a shady garage near there. the place is small and would not be good for parties of over 4, however the price was right and my party of two was seated promptly without a reservation.

I've been eating Japanese curry for years now and can somewhat tell the difference between good curry and not-so-good curry. The quality of the chicken katsu is the best in the area; I recommend it more than any other place here. The curry in other establishments is a BIT better, but Hurry Curry comes close. A bit nicer inside than other places. Free valet parking.

I'm usually at work, so I don't get to enjoy the 3-6 PM happy hour often (it's Monday thru Friday), but on the rare day when I take a day off, I'll ride my bike over here for the $2 appetizers, sake martinis, and beer. The appetizer portions are of course smaller during happy hour. The fried calamari is delicious, as is the fried chicken (boneless), fried shrimp, and tofu salad. Happy hour martinis are lychee, pomegranate, or apple. They're all right - a little weak but it's $2, so I shouldn't complain. I can't recall the types of beer you can get for $2 since I usually get a martini, but I just checked their menu and they serve Asahi, Sapporo, and Kirin.

I've been to Tokyo and this place offers pretty damn good Japanese Curry. My only complaint is since they have gotten bigger you sometimes don't get the really good slow cooked chicken curry they used to always have. Regardless of the changes, this is highly recommended for any Curry lover out there. I usually order take-out but the service is fine here also. I am not a big complainer of customer service....I come from a culture where you have to practically scream to get the waiters attention. If you never had curry period and are willing to experiment, this would be the perfect place!
Pros: Food is Fantabulous! Price is great!
Cons: Crowded, Parking

Hurry curry of Little Tokyo has a large selection of Japanese curries. It is a pretty decent restaurant. However, if it were placed basically anywhere else in L.A. it would be great. However, all around it there are so many better restaurants for about the same or less of the price. Nonetheless, Hurry Curry is a very good restaurant and should be tried at least.

This Curry house is one of my old favorites. You can always count on fast service, good food, and great prices. The chicken with veggies is my favorite, extra spicy! The menu includes other items, but to me the curry is the highlight of this spot. It stands out from others in the area due to its excellent and quick service.

I love this restaurant! This has to be one of the best katsu restaurants in the whole city of los angeles (or maybe in the area). The chicken cutlet curry is the ultimate best dish at this restaurant. Second has to be the chicken pasta (if some people dont like the pasta noodles, try the chicken pasta sub rice). I love the white sauce for this wonderful dish! For the appetizer, the fried shrimp is very yummy. Last but the least, gotta love their salad dressing! oh yes, and need to come around 8 or before during the weekend nights, waiting for seats can get too long.
Pros: great food, great service, good price
Cons: Valet parking sucks!, Parking
