I love the Thai Food here. I'll even drive twenty something miles for it. There's no thai food like in thai town. Palms is my favorite out of the rest. Although the parking is hectic sometimes, the food is really yummy. They have lunch specials at around 5-7 dollars. I always get the pad kee mow or the shrimp fried rice. The pad kee mow has three levels of spiciness and I always get the spiciest because I am used to eating whole chilies, but careful because my aunt thought it was too spicy. They have other items like rad naw and pad see eww - both are really good. They also have rice dishes like rice and basil chicken.

I went to eat at Palms Thai on a very busy Friday at lunch. The place was very, very noisy and it took almost 45 minutes for my boyfriend and I to recieve our lunch special we ordered. Also I ordered a special tea drink and they forgot to make it. The food that did come ended up being too heavily spiced ( and trust me I can handle ver very spicy foods). Also they seemed way understaffed the day we ate there. Over it was not a good experience. I am giving this place an OK because the previous time I went It was mediocre.

The Palms has the best Thai food in L.A., in my opinion, which is why I always recommend the Palms, even though seating is sometimes hard to get, and if you don’t score a booth, you have to seat yourselves picnic table style, elbow to elbow with other patrons. Despite that and an often hectic atmosphere on busy nights, the food is so fresh and tasty. It tastes like mom’s, seriously. Mom was impressed. Perfectly Authentic. Several adventurous choices on the menu too, like bugs and frogs. And if you are lucky, you can be dining on a night with really great, live musical entertainment. Service is fast and reliable, dining area has great decor and feel.

There is live music performance on the stage. While you eat, you can enjoy several singers singing the 60s and 70s songs. One time when I was there, there was a guy dress like Elvis Presley and singing his famous songs. The food are really good. But because of the performance, the restaurant is quite noisy, so don't expect quiet talks.

Great Thai restaurant in Thai Town. No reservations but the line moves fast. Valet parking is available on most nights. They have nightly entertainment including a Thai Elvis that sings on stage. A great Thai desert bakery is next door and also a Thai grocery store. The menu is extensive and prices inexpensive.
