This is one of my favorite Argentine restaurants. Aside from my dad's Carne Asada, I've never found better! The skirt steak is perfectly tender and seasoned, as are the sausages. Paired with some refreshing, light Sangria, their chorizo sandwich makes the perfect summer evening meal. Located on Melrose, you're bound to see something interesting happening if you take a seat at one of their spacious outdoor tables. And the dulce de leche crepes are so delicate and sweet that you'll wish you had room for more. Prices are moderate (about $20 per person). Parking is a drag, though valet is available.

This place is great for the simple things. The complimentary bread and spread are absolutely amazing. Along with their empanadas and mashed potatoes. Their salads are fresh and very green, however everything else falls a little short. Their ravioli isn't good, and neither is the rice in my opinion. The sangria tasted a little watered down too. But it's right on Melrose and it's cute and tasty so give it a try for a light lunch.

The entrees and sandwiches are reasonably priced, however there's not much variety, which I guess comes with the regional cuisine -- lots of garlic and meat variations. The outside area is great, lots of plants and faces Melrose shops. Parking valet or you can find lots of 2hr street parking before midnight.
