If you know what Chajang Myun (Korean Spaghetti) is, this is the place to get it. Hand-made noodles, great sauce, and they'll take the meat out for vegetarians.

I went on a lark after friends were scared off by a "C" health board rating. On the recommendation of a Jonathan Gold review, I tried the chachiang mein. The hand-pulled noodles were good, and the black bean sauce was terrific. While I ate, a man across the room sat at a table and ladled the bean sauce from a vat into plastic bags. Customers can buy the bags of sauce to go. I bought two. Why the "C" rating? The bathroom. It was a mess. But I peeked in the kitchen; it looked clean.
Pros: food
Cons: ambience

I read a Jonathan Gold restaurant review of this Koreatown eatery and decided to try it for the hand-pulled noodles. Unfortunately upon arriving, the front door displayed a "C" rating. I decided not to eat there until their letter grade improved, so read my food rating with a, uh, grain of salt.
Pros: noodles (apparently)
Cons: few parking spots
