It is absolutely mind-boggling that Roscoe's Chicken n Waffles is able to bring in repeat customers. I tried it just the other day because of all the publicity it gets, and I must say that I am utterly disappointed. Please don't get me wrong, the waffles are great! But the fried chicken honestly doesn't taste much better than KFC, etc. However, here's the most shocking part: 1 leg, 1 thigh, 2 waffles, and 1 drink, plus tax and tip (approx. 10% tip due to bad service) will run you at least $14 at any Roscoe's location! And it's not that I can't afford to spend $15-$20 on lunch, (I often take clients out to upper-scale Steak Houses or Sushi Bars) but to spend that amount of money on chicken (foster's farms at any supermarket will cost no more than 99 cents per POUND of chicken), waffles (flour, sugar...), and lemonade?!
