Nestled on the Sunset Strip a couple blocks east of where the action is at you'll find Toi on Sunset known for it's "rockin' thai food". the food's as good as any other thai place although the ambience and location is why you would really come here. dark and loud, a huge picture of lenon is on the back of the wall accompanied by every rock band you could think of. the maitre' d is as goth as it gets but the place has a great vibe. our waiter was fabulous even though we went on a busy saturday nite. the great thing about this place is that it has character, sort of punk, sort of goth, and definitely rock and roll. it's also open till 4:00am for all those nite owls out there who just finished partying it up on the sunset strip.

You can listen to good music here while enjoying a well-prepared Thai meal. It can get pretty busy on the weekends so be prepared to wait. And by wait I mean wait outside and or wait at the table to have your order taken and be served. Lots of cool stuff to look at everywhere in this place, even in the bathroom.

The unorthodox dinner music (maybe Ramones, or the Cure) and decor (posters, dragons made from air ducts, vintage furniture and lamps) would ensure a fun dining experience no matter what. But Toi goes one step further and serves up excellent grub as well! The waitstaff may be young and edgy, but they rarely treat the customer inconsiderately. Open late, Toi is the perfect place to stop in for a bit of Pineapple Fried Rice with friends after a night on the town.
