This is a wonderful restaurant with a casual, happy atmoshpere although it gets a little loud. Staff are very pleasant and very eager to serve it your way. The food, along with the hospitality, make this place one of the best. The pene with lamb and egplant, chicken vesuvio, lobster ravioli, roasted eggplant soup, are among our favorite picks on the menu. And despite what the CitySearch review says, bring the kids! It is a very family freindly, comfy place! But call ahead on the weekends!

Oh, and there's a Vons right down the street, too. The portions are good and the food is very tasty. The prices are surprisingly affordable. Why more people haven't discovered this spot is beyond me, though I'm not complaining. I recommend the ravioli in pesto. Order a few things and share them. I have had the pleasure of dining here a couple of times. A few times with a date, and once with my sister. I was treated well, given good service, and had a pleasurable dining experience. Exactly what I had expected. The food is excellent, flavorful, yet not to robust, the portions are ample, and the deserts are mouth watering. I like the fact the owners are there and if they recognize you will come up and talk with you, to make sure everything is going well. Pros: service, food, atmosphere Cons: can get crowded.
