This place showcases the best comedians out there. I've been here a couple of times and had nothing but good things to say. (cross fingers) There are a lots of unknown comedians but to my surprise they are really good. These are the kind of comedians you know are about to blow up. I saw Dane Cook before he got big, and he was really funny. Definitely, I recommend to come & see for yourself.

After giving your name to the hostess at the front, you are given a passwoord which you must give to the stuffed bird sitting on a bookcase, which then opens. Then you enter the famous magic castle, a club for magicians and millionaire malcontents. there is a bar, a lounge with a piano that takes requests -- though there is no player-- apparently it's a ghost, and a dungeon downstairs. Thhere are a few close-up theatres and one grand stage where all forms of prestidigitation occur. If you can manage to get an invitation, GO.

I keep coming back to the Mayan Night Club because of the great music and entertainment. The admission fee is not bad and they do have a dress code like most clubs that ive been to. Theres several floors with different music which is really cool, I definitely recommend Mayan.

The Circus Disco is a really crowded, fun club to just let loose. It's very trendy and very loud. You'll find a diverse crowd and everyone is dancing. It has a couple of rooms with different music playing and lights flashing everywhere. And the main dance floor is huge! The bar serves good but expensive drinks. It's not the best place to mingle but good for finding people to dance with. This club is known for having great DJs and they rarely disappoint. Be sure to buy tickets in advance if you can so you can avoid waiting in long, long lines. Located in a crowded area but there is a parking lot in the back.

I went clubbing there before and it wasn't that memorable of an experience. The DJ played the same music over and over again and mind you, they weren't great dance songs to dance to. Also, the crowd is pretty odd since most of them were in their early 30's + considering that I would think that the early 20's usually club, no? Anyway, the bartenders were really cool and gave us free drinks, which made the experience a lot better in regards to if we were sober. =P

This place is located right on Hollywood Blvd. You can get a discounted entrance fee from the L.A. Weekly magazine. Once inside you can can choice from 1of 3 rooms to go dance in. The night I went (Friday?) one room had goth type music, another had hip hop, and the middle room had 80's type of music playing. They have two bars that are located in the middle room. It is 18 and over to get in so there is a lot of young ones roaming around.
