The width of the aisles--well over double that of a normal theater--are one of the noteworthy features about this single-screen relic. Fun Egyptian-themed decor also makes for a unique movie-going experience. Sadly, a single screen means few options (usually the current blockbuster), but it's still a great venue.

The Vista is a restored old movie theater in Los Feliz. They did a really good job with the restoration, and it is beautiful to look at and the seats are quite roomy. On the downside, the sound is way too loud and parking is impossible around there. If you live near there, you might just want to walk or take the bus. Also, on opening weekends, the lines for tickets get extremely long. But it is cool; when they showed the remastered A Hard Day's Night there, it was the one time I didn't mind the volume being cranked.
