The Scene
Eschewing ambiance for volume and variety, this is truly a warehouse of wine. Thousands of bottles, still in the case, fill two huge rooms with exposed ceilings and brick and modular walls. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, ready to assist in the often daunting task of choosing from such a large selection.
The Goods
A good portion of Twenty Twenty's stock is purchased from private collections or at auction, meaning many rare wines, older vintages and cult favorites. French, Italian and California wines constitute most of the wares, though the store also carries over 200 single-malt scotches and 40 finer vodkas and tequilas. For those unable to store wine properly, an on-site storage facility ensures that purchases remain at their prime for years to come. Like a good financial adviser, Twenty Twenty guides you from selection through maintenance of your valuable red assets.
