The decor and atmosphere are very hip and modern. The fireplace adds a nice touch and there is great music at The Chalet. It reminds me of a ski lodge. If you go to The Chalet, I recommend you to go to Casa Bianca (which is near here) for dinner first.

Good place for a quiet drink. I went on a weeknight and the atmosphere was very mellow. The wall behind the bar is river rock which glows from behind the smooth, shiny candlelit bar running the length of the room. Lodge-like decor : leather booths, dim lighting, and a fire place. There's no valet or paid lot, but street parking is available on Colorado and in the surrounding neighborhood. The service was adequate.

It may look like a dump from the outside, but the inside of the place is really nice it has nice lounge area and a bar area. It is always packed, drinks are on the average, fair prices on every drink. It is a nice place to meet new people or to meet with friends. Jukebox is available, and like all bars in California it closes at 2pm.
