My husband and I stayed at the W hotel in Westwood to use a gift certificate which was expiring. While we only lived a mile away, it felt like thousands of miles away. I think the W prides itself in offering a very sleek yet modern designed hotel. Say good-bye to all the tacky furniture and wall-papered walls with flowers. Hotel bath products are by Aveda and they refill, too. The downstairs restaurant was good, but pricey. The hotel is in a neighborhood street (Hilgard), so you're taken away from the louder streets of Westwood, yet everything is walking distance. if you can afford it, the W is a nice hotel for relaxation.

Love the quiet street with easy access to everything ... Beverly Hills, Sunset Blvd, Santa Monica, and more. Large rooms with one of the best beds in the business. Staff can be a bit pretentious, but will treat you well if you take the time to introduce yourself and use the manners your mother taught you.
