The food here is eclectic and absolutely amazing. It's good for a romantic date or even meet friends at the bar. I particularly enjoyed the belly dancer show she had a python in her act. The service was amazing well worth the prices.
Pros: Sexy belly dancer
Cons: In the Center of Down town La

I eat here A LOT.
Put it this way...we go to Tommy's after every USC victory.
There's nothing better than a Tommy's burger after a game, spending time with our fellow Trojan Family. There's usually a pretty long line, but it's so worth it. It's under 5 bucks for a burger, fries, and a drink. Don't bother to get chili fries because you can always dip them in the chili from your burger.
Feeling drunk? Tommy's will help you sober up!
I once came here with a friend who had a stomach ache, and after Tommy's, she felt better! True story
The bottom line is, Tommy's is a Los Angeles staple. Forget pink's, Tommy's has the best chili in LA.
Pros: Everything
Cons: None

If you live in LA and have never been to Dodger Stadium, you're missing out on your own city. Dodger Stadium is a baseball treasure in an age of climate-controlled, artificial field stadiums. The Home of the Dodgers is real LA history, and though it is sprawling and maybe even dirty, it's as classic a place to see a game as Fenway or the soon-to-be-imploded Yankees Stadium, and the good news is Dodgers Stadium is sticking around. Go see a game, the truth is there's not a bad seat in the house, and as obnoxious as Dodger fans might be. It's American baseball at it's finest.

I love their CHICKEN. Its awesome, its a huge half chicken with this crazy spicy sauce. The plate is inexpensive too. The BURGERS are the only homemade ones Ive seen anywhere in a long time. and the PASTRAMI is off the hook, its huge, almost a pound of meat for $5.50. Ive been coming here for 15 years and george the owner is the coolest guy ever! Love dinos!!!

NOTE: I don't know what it reads that this is a review for Wilson Pitruzzelli Investment
800 E 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90013??????????????????????????????
IT'S NOT!
It's for Wurstkuche Restaurant!!
My husband and I celebrated a different kind of Valentine's Day this year. Instead of our usual fancy "schmancy" dinner out, we opted for an afternoon trek downtown to Wurstkuche, the "Purveyor of Exotic Grilled Sausages".
After we parked (conveniently right out front of Wurstkuche Restaurant), we walked in and quickly went over the menu. The sausages are broken down into three categories: "Classics", "Gourmet" and "Exotics". I ordered the Duck & Bacon with Jalapeno Pepper Sausage ($7.75) and Peter went for the Rattlesnake & Rabbit with Jalapeno Peppers ($7.75)
Along with sausages we also ordered Belgian Fries ($3.50) with Truffle Oil (+$1.50), which came with a dipping sauce. Choices were: Sweet and Sassy BBQ, Blue Cheese Walnut Bacon, Buttermilk Ranch, Thai Peanut, Tzatziki, Chipolte Ketchup, Sundried Tomato Mayo, Chipolte Mayo and Pesto Mayo. We selected the Blue Cheese Walnut Bacon.
The list of beers (draft and bottled) were a little intimidating because, honestly, we're not really into beer, so basically we blindly chose one each. Both draft beers, I selected the Chimay White and Peter ordered the Houblan Chouffe which was an Indian Pale. Both of our beers were good. My Chimay White was crisp and a tiny bit bitter (in a good way). Peter's beer (the Indian pale, Houblan Chouffe) was amazing. I kept sipping it trying to figure out the flavor I was tasting, and I swear there was a hint of passion fruit.
Between the two sausages we shared, we both really loved the Duck, Bacon with Jalapeno and will definitely order that again and again. Next time we'll have to try the Alligator & Pork or Green Chillies & Cilantro as well.
Note: The Rattlesnake & Rabbit with Jalapeno Peppers was good, but the Duck, Bacon with Jalapeno was "make your eyes roll back in your head" good. Lots of photos on MyLastBite dot com

I remember the first time I went there 20 years ago and it hasn't changed as far as I can tell. Really good burgers, and you have to try the Oki Dog. Not going to tell you what's in it, but you can eat it for days!

Recently discovered this place, I wish I lived closer :(
I really miss the Home of the Kosher Burrito that used to be across from City Hall in L.A.
I'm not big on hot dogs, I order mine w/o.
Pros: You can create a Kosher Burrito if you special order.
Cons: Long wait usually.

I was an Oki Dog regular when It was on Santa Monica Blvd.It was a great place to not only pick up tricks, but also to buy meth. The time of day never really mattered. The place stayed crowded with street people and cops.Jimmy "The owner" was always walking around looking for anything that would get him in trouble with the police.I can't count how many times Jimmy beat up a customer and threw him off the property. The video arcade was always filled with people selling dope and that location made more money than any other fast food place in the area. You had to buy something in order to hang out.Oh the good ole Oki Dog days. This sure brings back a lot of memories.
Pros: You can always find what you're looking for
Cons: The place is being watched by the police.

Even the deafening popularity of Kogi BBQ's famous little trucks cannot eclipse the fame of the underdog: Tommy Taco. The little taco shack buried among Westwood's chains is most notably referred to as "Buck Fifty's" by UCLA Bruins in memory of its good ol' days of giant $1.50 burritos and no-sign-out-front status. Now it boasts a TV screen menu and an official sign (along with higher prices), but its late-night hours and greasy Mexican food still impresses its devoted fans. Grab some napkins with your "Tommy Taco", stuffed with meat, pico de gallo, cheese, sour cream, and tasty fresh avocado.
Pros: Cheap prices, quick service, open late
Cons: Limited seating
