Maxwell's is located on the corner of Washington Blvd and Walgrove. They often sport a line on the weekends, so you want to get there early or just pour yourself a cup of coffee while you wait. They have many choices of sausages, veggie, chicken, etc as well as several options for sides with your breakfast that you might not find at other places. They have a counter for single seating, where I love to get good ol' fashioned cream of wheat with mixed berries. Their prices are fair and match the quality and generosity of the food. The service is friendly and the staff knows most everyone by name. I highly recommend this place, it's has a homey feel and a great menu and they bend over backwards to get you anything you want. So, if you want pancakes like mom used to make, head to Maxwell's.

come here early to get ahead of the super long line that'll definitely greet you if you show up around 9-10. the place packs customers in elbow to elbow, but it feels more like when the relatives come to town during the holidays than a bunch of strangers congregrating for some pancakes and omelets. service and staff is friendly and the food is hearty. the spinach omelet is lovely, as were the sausages.
if only they were open for dinner! french toast for dinner!

This breakfast diner has been around for ages. Kinda small from the outside, but pretty roomy inside, it seats quite a few people. Usually a wait on weekends if you arrive after 10am. The most famous item they serve is their garbage omelette. The sausages are also very tasty. Parking is street but can get limited.
