Z-Best Hardwood Floor recently did a hardwood floor installation in our home's living-room. I was very pleased with the entire process from Davis' initial estimate to the actual installation. Davis was very professional and personable and I didn't feel as though I was being high pressured into making a decision. Davis showed us a variety of flooring options that were within our budget. The flooring was delivered several days before the installation and when the crew showed up the flooring was ready.The actual installation took one day because the job consisted only of our living room. The installers were very careful with our furniture and did good job of leaving the job site clean. I did notice a scratch in a moulding piece with was corrected without complaint.My wife and I are considering hardwood flooring in the upstairs bedrooms and Z-Best will be our choice to do the job. I would certainly recommend Z-Best just as they were recommended to us.

After I had purchased french white oak, the referred hardwood floor specialist (?) laid it and then lied about the recommended product to get approval of what he wanted to use. The look was not what I wanted and the service was disappointing. I was then recommended Davis. He came in and assessed what was done and what was originally recommended. He found out the product was VOC free and allowed everywhere in the USA. We obtained the product and he diligently learn and applied it accordingly to the importers instructions. The effort and time he spent goes beyond the service anyone would have provided and given. The floor has the European look that is to wear forever. It may take time and extra effort to achieve this look but it is well worth it. I don't think I would ever have found anyone like Davis who put the time and care into his work to make this happen. I recommend everyone that if you want more than the urethanes applied to your beautiful wood to call Davis. He is a master with oils and various finishes - not just the run of the mill finish that others would like to do because it is quick and easy. Davis has a great working relationship with his workers and they have stayed on this job until all has been done and I'm satisfied.

05/05/2008 Davis and his crew installed a sub floor and solid teak flooring in our home. we were impressed with Davis from the first time we met him, he spent allot of time going over our options and explaining each step of the process. he is very personable and accommodating. his crew was very neat, professional, easy to work with and very much wanted to do whatever it took to meet our needs. they were here everyday promptly when they said they would be and daily until the job was completed. when we needed to meat with Davis, he would come at our convenience and was always very pleasant. they also installed the baseboards in our home witch we had planed to do ourselves at a later date. His crew had it done in no time and at a very reasonable cost to make our project so much closer to completion! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND We definitely recommend Davis and his crew for your hard wood flooring needs! G.A.M---Santa Clarita,

I contacted Davis after reading these same reviews and found that he was just a professional, and I'll add patient, as the other reviews state. My wife and I had our hearts set on a type of wood that is used less often and Davis arranged to get it for us through his suppliers at a good price. He encouraged me to see if I could find a better price online, but after a couple of hours of searching I concluded that I could not. Davis' estimate on the work ended up being very accurate in terms of the quantity of materials needed. The Z-Best crew did a great job installing the floors. They were prompt, courteous, open to suggestions and requests. Our home's floor had developed lots of squeaks over the years due to the use of thin plywood. The guys tracked down the offending squeaks and took care of them. They were very professional. Thanks Z-Best.

If you love hardwood floors, this business is for you. I am spreading the news because they deserve it. They come, they give estimate, and they deliver; or should I say they floor. They did one of our apartments. The floors are old and I was considering the new installation but Davis talked us out of it and saved us thousands of $$$. Instead his crew replaced old , ruined parts and refurbished the whole apartment. It was done in a fast, economical way.The apartment looks great! And they are nice poeple, too!

After reading all of the reviews, we only had to make one phone call and that was to Davis at ZBestHardwood floors. We called Hanni on Sunday, met Davis on Monday and they were ready to go on Tuesday. The floors were done by Thursday. He was on-time, easy to reach by phone, and responsive. And the floors have gone from shabby to chic in less than 72 hours. Honest man, good business, glad to have worked with him.

OK - Its clear they are ZBest. Have you ever read so many great reviews? I refinished my floors myself a few years ago and they looked OK (= pretty bad). We finally decided to have them redone and WOW! we never thought they could look so good. Like a great dessert you don't want to eat. Davis is a really nice guy and a real pro.
