When I was pregnant, I went around town looking for the best pre-natal yoga class which fit into my busy work schedule. I did find a class at Center for Yoga and was able to buy a cute onesie outside for my child-to-be at their sidewalk sale. It's a busy place on a Saturday, so don't feel intimidated or lost, just ask questions. Shoes are left downstairs and classes are upstairs or up another flight of stairs. My class was on the third floor which wasn't all that exciting given I was really big and pregnant. However, the class was pretty nice and there were tools on the wall to help with various stretches and poses. I could see how on a weekday, it might be a little more relaxing, but that wasn't an option for me at the time. I'm not sure if they have parking as I parked on the street in a metered parking spot.

I'm pretty new to yoga, and this center takes that into account. They have introduced me gradually to the world of yoga, and I feel like I get more out of it with each session. The classes are affordable (especially compared to the fancy west LA yoga studios), but they still have very knowledgeable instructors.

my sister lives near here, and whenever my family gathers in LA you can count on seeing my dad (the family yogi) at center for yoga. he's quite an aficionado of yoga studios around the country, and he puts center for yoga in his top 5. i'd give it a higher rating, but i can't speak for it myself - check it out.
