I love this place! Each time I go I am more and more impressed. The food is tasty and beautifully presented; each plate is a work of art! I highly recommend the sauteed edamame, the duck sushi roll, and the chocolate mousse sorbet dessert. Be sure to save room for cocktails! They have shoju (like Japanese vodka) that is infused with fruit like lychees, raspberries, and strawberries. They even have a jalepeno shoju if you're into that! If you haven't had a lychee martini, you better try one, they are fantastic! Bartender Frank is personable and attentive and makes it a fun place to hang out while he's mixing up the drinks. I highly recommend it!
Pros: Food, drinks, location, service
Cons: None

I try to go to as many happy hours as possible... I'm young, its cheap, less formal, and many times still tasty. Zucca blew the roof off of all of the happy hours I have ever been to. The inside of Zucca is beautiful and grand, with high ceilings and marble floors. On the right is the bar, sit with Gary and he will take care of everything. The house cab was very good (only like 4 dollars) and my boyfriend got a dirty martini which he enjoyed (like 4 dollars). All of the food is $4.50. We got the zucca pizza, a pizza with truffle oil and mushrooms (can't remember the name), fried ravioli, and vongole (clams). The pizzas are amazing! I loved the zucca, my boyfriend loved the truffle oil, but we both enjoyed each of them. The vongole was also great, very fresh, with this amazing toasted bread that was so good dipping into the tomato brushetta sause. The fried ravioli wasn't that great and really was kind of like mozzarella sticks (instead with ricotta), but I think I just don't like that sort of thing. Four drinks and four appetizers later, me and my boyfriend were buzzed and very very full... all for like $40 dollars. I can't wait to go back, and when I earn a little more, actually try their normal menu. Hands down, the best happy hour in L.A.
Pros: Food, food, food... oh and the ambience and Gary the bartender
Cons: Nothing!

The food is great reasonably priced, the help is clean and helpful. I did this on my own, seeing the stupid things written about it I couldn't resist.

Its hard to put into words how much I enjoy eating at West. The food and service is spectacular, the maitre de even manages to memorize your name. I highly recommend the fondue; it comes with both caramel and chocolate pots to dip the best selection of fruits, toasted marshmallows and brownies. Delicious!

This is by far the best slice in LA. Great toppings, the best quality cheese, and a perfect crust. Get the plain cheese or the white pie, crazy good stuff.
Pros: Toppings, Cheese, Crust
Cons: Makes me fat

This restaurant recently opened on Melrose and is definitely a welcomed addition. The amuse bouche complements of the chef was a fabulous start to a wonderful evening. We had several European Plates as our meal- risotto, gnocchi, and confit duck lettuce wraps. While all of the food was fabulous, the risotto really stood out. The service was impeccable and the ambiance was sophisticated yet relaxed. The outdoor patio is lovely but the inside dining room is also great, and you can hear the live music from the Foundry next door because of the open dining room. We ended the evening with the peanut butter cup dessert which was heavenly. The wine list was great too and although they have many wines by the glass, they will open any bottle for you as long as you commit to two glasses. The price was incredibly reasonable for all that we had. we will definitely be back!
Pros: great wines, reasonably priced food, great service
Cons: none

Not only is the food amazing at Vincenti but so is John. Vincenti was just named number 7 in the "75 Best Restaurants in Los Angeles" issue of Los Angeles Magazine and Number 1 in the article ?The 20 Best Italian Restaurants in Los Angeles? written by Jonathan Gold for LA Weekly. There is no place like it outside of Italy. I have to completely disagree with the reviewer about John. I mentioned to a friend recently that John was working at Vincenti and his comment was ?having John run your dining room would be like having Picasso paint your living room?. We all love John, Maureen and the staff at Vincenti.
Pros: Pizza on Monday's
