Spaceland is a terrific place to see a show. You can’t smoke here. The live music here is fabulous and you can really discover new music here. I also love the drinks, they are delicious. The atmosphere is very hip. The staff is attentive and friendly. Location is not very convenient though.

Spaceland is one of LA's premiere rock clubs. They book a variety of touring acts, mostly indie rock and avant gardists of various stripes, and many local artists have made their names there. I used to know everyone there, but time moves on...anyway, good club. Monday nights, when there is no cover, is a big scene that you should check out. One warning, if a major artist is playing there, the lines go around the block and you'll need to get there early.

This is such a great place to catch up-and-coming bands and artists or just hang out. It's a 21 and over place so you don't have to worry about annoying kids ruining things for you. It can be quite hot and stuffy inside, though, if there's a lot of people around. The upstairs room has a pool table, bar, decent jukebox, and an old school Pac-Man table. Parking is a major issue ever since the surrounding side streets put up permit only signs though.
