This neighborhood gem will remind you of a cafe in Italy with it's Italian pottery on the walls and clean and simple ambiance. Pasta is made to order with fresh ingredients and portions are generous. Save room for one of their tasty desserts. Thin crust pizzas are another great option. This is also a popular choice for Italian take-out.

I only go to this coffee bean because of the large outdoor patio where I can bring my small dog (she's a 6 lb maltese). Last Sunday AFTER I had purchased my coffee and settled down with my book and my dog, the cashier came out and told me that they "no longer welcome dogs" and that I would have to leave the patio. Mind you, she's not a German Shepherd and there were no other dogs there at the time. Also, there are no signs posted. I would suggest leaving your dog at home and maybe getting coffee somewhere else, too....
Pros: Large outdoor patio with firepit
Cons: NO DOGS ALLOWED!

This is one of the most fantastic coffee shops to be found in Los Angeles. If you've had it with all the major chains of Starbucks, Pete's, and Coffee Bean and Leaf, you should definitely check this place out. It is reminds me of the neighborhood feel of the coffee shops in San Francisco. The staff is always friendly, remembering your drinks and name. Can't beat having free internet and the menu is quite inventive and ambitious for a small shop. Parking can seem to be a problem but I just found out that there's always free parking in the back of the shop. Lot's of locals, industry folk and artisans. Can't say enough about how much I love this place. Oh, and it's insanely clean!!!

I have been to many starbucks small and big but theres something about this location that I like a lot. They have plenty of tables and the service is fast. I make special request for my drinks and they always get it just right. It is always clean here and so relaxing!
