This is one of the best Chinese places I've ever been, and I know everyone is crazy about their Dim Sum, but their dinner is just as good. The Peking Duck is almost too good. By far the best Peking Duck, I've ever had. We're talking close-your-eyes, melt-in-your-mouth good. I was headed to a Dodger game when I stopped in and the duck was so good I decided to forego a Dodger Dog at the game. That might not sound that crazy, but it is. Great Chinese food, there's a reason this place has 5 stars.

I've tried a lot of the menu items and everything is always fantastic. The dumplings and the cream cheese sticks are especially tasty. The drinks taste great - Tokyo Rose is a blueberry cocktail to die for - the are a little pricey $10-12 for a short glass...but the food is VERY reasonably priced for what you get. The wait staff has always been great with us. I recommend you try it if you like fresh, asian cuisine.
Pros: Quality and taste of food items.
Cons: Cocktails are yummy, but a little pricey.

We ordered family style for a group of six and every single dish was excellent. We had the slippery shrimp (everybody's favorite), the dry sauteed string beans, beef with mushrooms and bamboo shoots, house special chicken and the combination fried rice. The dishes did not arrive all at the same time, but since we were all sharing, this was no problem. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place.
Pros: great food
Cons: eclectic decor

We love this place. The food is good and the service is quick. Our kids love the food and we feed a family of five for around 35 dollars (before tip). The slippery shrimp and orange chicken are our favorites. They have the same or similar sauces. I have tried nothing that I didnt like on the menu. Kids like the fish tank and the turntable in the middle of the tables. Service is always good with the same group of waitstaff always on.
Worst part about the place is the parking. Street is limited and the lot is small. Off times or lunch usually isnt bad but try to go for dinner you have to deal with the valet. I have been on two occasions with only 1 valet running things in the small lot and there were almost 3 fights over who was first and blocking or trying to pull in next.
Pros: Food/service/value
Cons: parking

On the corner of National and Rose stands a tiny little building housing the most amazing food this side of the Yangtze. Hu's is a family owned hole in the wall that serves up delicious fare for an even more delicious price.
Do NOT leave this place without having the Szechwan Won-Tons: handmade pillows of yumminess filled with juicy meat and tangy fresh ginger. Another must is the Szechwan Shrimp, sweet and succulent with a hint of spicy. Lunch specials and noodle soups keep the place hopping at noon, and dinner service starts at 5:30PM. Stop at Fair Market next door and pick up some beer or wine to have with your meal, or enjoy the bottomless hot tea made fresh in the restaurant. If you're in a hurry, place your order to go, or have it delivered!

I've been coming here since I was a little kid. My grandma would take me in the mornings to get dim sum. I would usually get bows or egg custards. They have this little pond on the first floor which I used to throw coins into and the fish would try and eat them.

I recently went to Wokano since well, downtown has precisley jack worth of places to eat. I walk in and am greeted by these pretty cute hosts. I was seated almost immediately and the place was slammed. I arrived with about 4 people. The waitresses in this place are REDICULOUS< meaning HOT!!! The blond chick that helped us out, amazing legs! . WOW!!! And as were looking around we notice some other hot waitresses as well. Our waitress was very helpful and nice. We tried every one of her recommendations and loved it! We ordered Black Pepper Mignon and a Double KP and also had some sushi and sashimi. Everything was timed well and we would of ordered more but we found ourselves stuffing it all down. It is amazing food and priced pretty well. One complaint to the managers though...... why the hell is your staff running around like maniacs?..... I suppose thats how it is, but I would love to have your hot waitresses sit down and enjoy a meal on us!!! Thanks for such an GORGEOUS day! Customer fo Lifeeeeeee!
Pros: HOT STAFF, GREAT CUST SERVICE
Cons: TOO LOUD

Great Chinese Chicken Salad. Get the best value "dim sum and then sum". I used to go to the original location on Sunset but stopped going since they changed the layout and menu. I hoped this location's Chicken held up to the original taste and reciped and it does. Good food.
