Very reasonable priced food at its location for lunch. Superb atmosphere, composed and not noisy, and satisfactory service. I tried a combination lunch they call Bento Box. The cod in this lunch box was magnificent. It would have been better if the dressing for the salad was more tasty. My partner tried various types of sushi. He was amazed by the taste but the service was too fast for him. He had his next sushi even before he started the one before. If you want to settle down and leisurely spend time for lunch, you better check this place out!

We had a great time there. Sushi we tried was very amazing, especially "Aji", the Spanish mackerel. I asked the server and learned that it is freshly shipped from Japan. Many more items such as wasabi & sushi rice vinegar are also shipped directly from Japan as well. Wasabi was the best I've ever tasted in my entire life!! In my opinion, KULA Sushi Bistro is much better than other famous & popular sushi restaurant in Santa Monica & LA. It's a shame that the restaurant is hard to find because it doesn't stand out. I'm pretty much sure I'll go back and dine again to have a great time. Cons: Valet Parking
