I went to Street for my birthday in August as it was recommended to me from a friend. I read some of the reviews on the net and tried several of the dishes described as some of their best. I went with four friends and we ordered about 6-7 things and everything was so unique and delicious! I recommend sitting on the patio as it's quieter. I also recommend you try their absinthe cocktails. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening! The service was very friendly and fast and the waitress recommended some dishes we tried and we all loved everything. Treat yourself to a really original experience in dining!
Pros: Very original menu and so delicious!
Cons: None

Excellent service, dishes were inventive and kept me excited to see what was coming out next. The fried chicken was one of the best I have tasted and I don't often get excited about Fried Chicken. All in all, a fun, casual dining experience that kept me intrigued, excited to see what was next and ultimately satisfied.
Pros: Short Ribs and Fried Chicken
Cons: Wall decor was overly Basquiat

We shared 3 apps, 2 salads, and 3 entrees between 5 people. Everything we had was amazing. Service was also really good and knowledgeable about each of the plates we had. If you can't decide on what to have, definitely do the world tour and just enjoy everything that gets put in front of you. Valet is a bit pricey, and we arrived just before the tow away parking ends on highland . . . next time I'd probably make a reservation for 7 and end up with free front row parking.
Pros: So many different types of cuisine to choose from
Cons: parking, hard to make a decision

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at The Street with a group of amazing people. I must say the food was wonderful. We were lucky enough to try a super- charged Globe Trot tasting dinner, which included a mixture of apps, The Kaya Toast, a wonderfully sweet coconut jam between toasted bread dipped in egg yoke and a great Hawaiian Poke, then on to a few great fresh salads including the new Jerusalem bread salad (one of my favs) and entrees including Korean BBQed short ribs and a corn salad, as well as fried chicken. Needless to say, I was very full and satisfied when I headed to my car at the end of the night.
The service was incredible. The staff was super friendly and was well-versed on the food and drinks they were serving. We also had the pleasure of receiving a few visits to our table from Susan Feniger, both to educate us on the food and make sure we were happy. Love it when a chef/owner makes their way around the dining room!
I will definitely go back and would recommend it to everyone who loves a combination of Middle Eastern, Asian and European cooking.
Pros: Great food and wonderful staff
Cons: A bit loud inside

this place is trying to hard to be different. the server suggested that we have 2-3 app dishes before ordering 2 more main dishes to share - for 2 people. each appetizer is at least $9 and the main dishes start at $24. they have items from all over; korea, japan, vietnam, ukraine, india. The dishes we had were 'good' not great. It is ridiculous what they charge for valet $7 before 5 and $8 after 5 for a parking lot of 10 spaces that the valet doesn't have to go 20 yards for. There is a nice patio and the staff was friendly. Our waitress was nice but left something to be desired in the attentitveness department.
Pros: atmosphere, location, authenticity
Cons: pricey, valet

Very pleased! A few blocks from where I live we were excited to see what they did with old Dive spot. We felt comfortable in casual clothes and I loved what they did with the outdoor patio. They offered cozy blankets if you were cold and there was a cool retro fire. We had pork pot-stickers with ponzu that were delish! I had the udon noodles with shrimp that my boyfriend would get next time instead of the spare ribs. Didn't like the Asian flare they had. Prices weren't too bad and have a really cool drink menu and they serve glasses of wine the most unique way - you gotta go see!
Pros: cozy outdoor eating, knowlegeble staff
Cons: a lot of staff hovering

There is no other place in Los Angeles like this...it's GREAT! I went there Saturday night with a friend. We had a late reservation, 9:00 pm, but were seated promptly. We ordered a drink at the bar which was yummy and strong! It's a really small place so we were practically sitting on top of the table next to us. There is a cute patio but it was too cold for me...bonus though, they offer you blankets! Although they were swamped, the service was spot on. I liked that our waitress was very knowledgable about not only the food, but the wine list as well. She was very honest about what was great and what was just ok...we had the thai bites which were out of this world!!!!! some Indian appetizers and the chicken curry...everything was YUMMY!!!! We had the Turkish donuts for dessert which were also great. My only suggestion would be maybe a bit better wine list but all in all I will definitely make this my neighborhood spot! We met Susan on the way out and we told her what a great job she was doing..she was so appreciative....GREAT NEW CONCEPT!!
Pros: Brought back great memories of all my travels
Cons: uncomfortable chairs
