Nearly $1 million and a feng shui consultation turned the 2,500-square-feet of decrepit space above Prive salon into a contemporary Balinese retreat with all the amenities. You'll find rooms for massage, facial and nail-care services, as well as Vichy showers, eucalyptus steam rooms and a nurse's station. Touches like ambient nature sounds and special teas and tonics attract celebrities like Meg Ryan, Tea Leoni and Uma Thurman. If you must cancel an appointment, do it 24 hours in advance. Less than 24-hours' notice and you'll be charged half the cost of the scheduled service.
