After a year of neglect, I decided to treat myself to a much need facial and called The Body Clinic, a local spa that's been in business for decades. They found a same day appointment for me within the hour. Ignore the generic exterior because once you exit the elevator, you're transported into a tranquil spa environment. I'll return again soon.

I went in for a brow wax and have never been more disappointed. After explaining to the woman that they needed reshaping and a good amount of waxing/tweezing, she proceeded to dab a tiny bit of wax on each brow and five minutes later gave me a mirror. I thought she wanted me to see her progress...instead it was to indicate she was done! I was staring at eyebrows that were still overgrown and misshapen. I couldn't believe she actually thought they were finished!! I nicely asked if she could wax or tweeze the rest. We repeated this cycle (her tweezing one hair and then giving me the mirror) about 4 more times before I finally just lied and said it looked good and did the rest myself at home. I will not go back there again.

The prices are very reasonable and the staff is very courteous and friendly. There is plenty of parking available and the hours are long, from 10-8pm on most days. You are treated like royalty..

When I started to drive again in May of 2002,I found my way back to the Body Clinic for weekly back stress treatments to speed up my recovery. Returning to the Body Clinic I found a wonderful surprise! A new and more relaxed atmosphere. They had remodeled adding seperate steamrooms and lockers for men & women, a lounge area for the client to relax in before and after treatments. Most of all theBody Clinic taylored the treatments to my personal requirements. You've got to check out the LaStone therapy. Its using Hot and cool stones treatment which is both destressing and deeply relaxing. The facials and deep tissue massages are the best in the area. I've personally felt and seen the improvement in my skin. Its heavenly to let go of "STUFF" and feel the deep relaxation with varous different treatments offered by the well trained staff. A haven from the outside world. I always feel pampered and welcome by the spas friendly staff. I am glad to see the improvements this day spa has recently made in their facilities. It seems that they are willing to grow and improve: A testment to what I've experienced--IMPROVEMENT--when I get a facial or body treatment (even my friends notice the change in my skin. This place is the most awsome place I have ever been to. The Staff are dedicated and friendly. The variety of treatments, the thoroughness and the fact that I am able to let go of all my stresses is probably the most important reason I go there. It is close to my home & office and the staff is quite knowledgable and amiable. I was recommended by a friend who goes there and I am glad I did. I most assuredly would not go anywhere else. They also have an awsome selection of Essential Oils and other gifts. Gift certificates, yeah they got those there too so gift giving is a real joy too.
