This is probably the worst place I've gotten my hair cut at. I don't think my barber washed the hair cutter or scissors before using them on me, and as a result, I practically felt that hair of the previous customer on my body. It was disgusting, and I wanted to leave, or tell her otherwise, but I was afraid that she might retaliate and refuse to cut my hair, or worse, mess it up on purpose. I was considering paying a lousy tip, but I decided it would just be better to never come back. Don't come here.

The good news: Annie's has extremely reasonable prices for women's haircuts. The bad news: sometimes you get what you pay for. If you're in a rush and need a walk-in appointment, this salon can probably accomodate you. If you're lucky, you'll get out with a decent cut. Be forewarned, however, that some of the stylists don't follow instructions. At all.

I agree with the others - you get what you pay for.. Actually worse. The haircut was TERRIBLE and the lady cutting my hair was so rude and cold. I kept trying to make friendly conversation and she acted like it was so hard for her to say 2 words! This place needs to learn that service service and service are what make a successful business. Oh and of course the HAIRCUT

I was severly disappointed with Annie's Hair Salon. Although their prices are reasonable, I found that the service was allright at best. My hair was not cut to my description and I almost had to go back and get my bangs fixed. The hair dresser I had was very non communicative and unfriendly. Sitting there for 20 minutes was almost painful and socially awkward. I definitely tipped on the low side. However, they did have a good selection of magazines.

Annie's Hair Salon is located in the heart of Westwood Village and many students frequent this location. Usually there is a special student rate so you can get your hair cut for $15 or less. When I walked in for a hair cut, the lady was very rushed with my cut. I had told her what I wanted and she pretty much took out a razor of some sort and "hacked" at my hair for less than 10 minutes. When she gave me the mirror for inspection, it looked ok, but when I got home, I saw that my hair cut was uneven, that she had missed clumps of ~10 hairs so that they are longer than the rest of my cut. I will not return to this place, they are too crude.
