I started going to this salon about four months ago after a good friend repeatedly told me that Bob, the owner, would make me look amazing. I was initially nervous, but felt at ease and excited after meeting Bob and the rest of the staff. I stopped in a few days before my appointment and Bob met with me for half an hour just to examine my coloring and facial features to come up with a customized look just for me. After my appointment, I was blown away by what I saw in the mirror. My friend was right, I looked better than ever! Bob is an amazing artist and has a gift for understanding colors and shapes and coming up with a look that is beauty-enhancing. What is more amazing is the fact that I have not needed a trim since my first visit, my cut looks fresh and new, my hair is healthy, and I get more compliments than ever!! I now refuse to let anyone else come close to my hair. Bob is simply a genius and does wonders, which is particularly impressive to someone like me who has lived with incredibly curly and unamanageable hair her whole life! You will also love the friendly staff and the large selection of excellent products!

I can hardly believe all these great reviews for Bob at Transcend Salon. He must have written and submitted them himself!! Bob knows how to cut hair but only wants to do it his way. I was chastised for simply telling him that my hair was getting a little short in the back!! He got all mad at me and told me I could leave if I didn't want to have my hair cut HIS way!! I paid $90.00 to be yelled at and embarrassed in his shop! He also made me wait an hour while he talked and gossiped with his current client. While in the process of cutting my hair he bragged about all the stars he knows and has cut their hair .... frankly I don't believe it because I can't see them sitting there and listening to him brag about himself while he cuts their hair! Let me tell you it's a weird experience. Kind of the topper is the fact that while cutting my hair he stopped every now and then to go to the back of the shop and eat his lunch!!! I only recommend Bob and his shop if you want to get your hair cut by a self centered power tripper!! Oh, and I can't forget to mention the jokes he told me involving women's anatomy..... which I found vulgar and out of place. My advice is try somewhere else.
