The first time I went here, the stylist (I forget her name), an older lady, gave me a horrible haircut. The second time I went, I got an awesome haircut from Ernie. It's been about two months, and I'm due. I took my mom with me the second time, and she got an amazing haircut from her stylist (I forgot her name, too), but she was a young stylist as well. Seems the younger stylists are who to go to here. I'll repost when I get the name of my mom's stylist.

i needed a normal hair cut and found i was in a town with the rich & famous. i called a few recommended salons and was shocked to find out what a hair cut cost in la. tried a national chain salon called supercuts. to my surprise i got an excellent job, almost as good as i get at the salon i use at home and the best part it only cost me $14.50.
Pros: inexpensive, free parking, no waiting
Cons: no trendy name, no trendy address, no attitudes

There is almost no wait at this supercuts. The reason why is that they do cut really fast so if you're really looking into a relaxing, nice chat with the hairdresser, forget about this place. They are into expeditive mode. The prices are really cheap though! $14 for a haircut, $2.5 for shampoo. You can easily get a $2 off coupon if you subscribe to their mailing list.

I got my hair layered by this young, hip stylist with two-toned punk hair. She really took her time with the cut and gave me the look I wanted. Chain salons often have reputations of mediocrity, but sometimes they are just what one needs for a trim. As long as one brings a photo of a desired haircut, there should be no problem. I would definitely come back. Greatest $14 cut I've ever gotten and I my friends love it.
PROS: hip and cheap
CONS: depends on the stylist. pick the one with the good hair.

If you aren't looking for anything fancy and don't have a lot of money to spend, this is a good choice for a haircut. However, you are at the mercy of the person who happens to cut your hair. I know a couple of people who ended up wearing hats for a couple weeks after visiting this place.
