Nice place but bad food

The atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing due to the beautiful gardens overlooking L.A. and the garden setting where you can eat. However, this place is called a restaurant and the food is something unspectacular. Their kobe beef entree is horrible because the beef is hard and the appetizers are bland. They are so cheezy to even put on the menu "yamachurros". I do give it to them that the presentation makes the food look like works of art. And, the service is great, too. Everybody seems to be attentive.

The Perfect Backdrop for Romance

This is the ideal restraunt to take someone special. The view at twilight or after dark is spectacular. The place itself is beautiful and lushly landscaped. The food and service are excellent and the decor inside is just as breath taking as outdoors. The prices are good for what you get and not outragous. The only thing I don't like is they only have vallet parking.

this is a truly wonderful experience...

To eat dinner here, you should go around the twilight hours, where you get to see what it looks like up there in the daylight hours and where it marks into the early evening hours...

it's absoultely beautiful up here! they have a beautiful japanese garden in the center...

they have delicious food... and it's just an exciting place to be...

i'd love to go back soon!

and the prices are reasonable, they are not exorbitant... well worth it!
