Diddy Reise is a staple in a Bruin's diet. Living in Westwood or just visiting UCLA is never complete with out a trip to this popular student hang-out. For just one dollar Diddy Reise offers your choice of any of the following three specials: three cookies - any combination, any combination of two cookies/brownies with a glass of milk, or the ultimate - the Diddy Reise ice cream sandwich. Here the customer gets his or her choice of two freshly baked cookies - again any combination including chocolate chip, peanut butter, chocolate chip-walnut, cinnamon sugar, white chocolate chip-macadamia nut, etc - with a large scoop of any flavor of their many various Dreyer's ice cream flavors. This treat is the perfect match to a movie, a night out, or just a late night craving. And they are open late. Lines can get long during busy hours - i.e. the just after dinner rush - however, with many employees, quick and easy ordering, and a cash only policy, the line moves very quickly. They also offer several meals including cheap hot dogs for example. In my many times to Diddy Reise, I have only seen one person order anything but an ice cream sandwich. They are the ultimate treat for just a dollar.

If you are like me and have a sweet tooth, you are often looking for places you can satisfy your cravings without breaking the bank. This is it. I love diddy reese because you can get fresh icream sandwiches with two different types of cookies if you'd like for $1.00!! I mean where can you find that kind of deal everyday? Although there may be a long line due to how close it is to UCLA, it is worth the wait, plus the line goes by quickly. They even have a hot dog and soda for I believe $1.25. Definitely worth checking out!

I have had them and they taste just fine to me. Also, if you are feeling naughty, have the Ice cream sandwich. I think it is also $1. the ice cream they use is dreyer's just in case you were wondering...

Diddy Riese Cookies is an institution for the students of UCLA. They offer cookies for 25 cents a piece. Their menu has grown some with ice cream cookie sandwiches for a buck, hot dogs and brownies.
Their mainstay is their cookies, they have different flavors and you cannot beat 25 cents a piece. We normally go here after a dinner or a movie for our dessert and it does not hurt our wallets. A treat and a tradition for the westside.

The cookies are absolutely amazing especially if you go right when they are made fresh. The cookie sandwich is what it is most famous for so enjoy the experience thoroughly.

i went to ucla for undergraduate and graduate school so let's say that i've been going to diddy riese for the past seven years. although their prices are not as cheap as they used to be (it is still dirt cheap) it's a ucla favorite and you can always find a line especially after the movies. warning that the ice cream sandwiches can make you really hyper with all that sugar!

Located near two major movie theaters (The Fox and The Bruin), Diddy Riese has become a favorite for movie goers. Their prices are cheap, and the cookies are stupendous. Renowned from Santa Monica to Torrance. The line may be intimidating, but it moves quickly as the help is efficient. Cruicial to the atmosphere of the Westwood Area.

There is a wide selection of different cookies and ice cream as well. The place is usually crowded as it is in a crowded location in West LA, near UCLA.

You can NOT beat Diddy Riese for dessert. Especially if you want it late at night. Diddy Riese is usually open until 1am. And you are definitely in luck if you want it cheap. You can get cookies for very cheap (I'm not sure the exact cost) or you can get an ice cream cookie sandwich for $1. On weekends the line is usually long when it gets close to closing time, though. There is not very much space inside the restaraunt itself, so it can get pretty crowded and confusing, and the line is out the door and down the street, but it moves quickly and you really can't beat CHEAP.

Near UCLA, this place offers cookies that you can buy individual for 35 cents or a dozen for three dollars (I think). Anyways, they're known for selling ice-cream sandwiches that they'll make right in front of you. You get your choice of two cookies (they have about 10 different kinds) and choice of ice cream, all for a dollar. The cookies are the nice chewy ones, not the hard crunchy ones. Definitely a must try if you're in the UCLA area.
