We have been going to Little China for almost 12 years now and never thought to look it up on City Search. After having dinner there tonight and driving past (yech!) Panda Express and seeing how busy it was, I was saddened that so many people have no idea that two or three blocks down on Cahuenga is Little China. It is amazing compared to the McDonalds of Chinese food, Panda Express. It's nothing fancy in terms of decor or ambiance but the food is always fresh and the price is right. It's always busy at lunch due to the Nissan dealership across the street and they have awesome lunch specials that includes an egg roll and small soup. It's busy at dinner too but more on the delivery side of things not so much the restaraunt. We order take out there all the time as well and the same awesome guy, William, has been delivering to us for the 12 years we've been eating there. Our favorite dish to order is the "LIttle China Chicken" and their Hot and Sour soup is always good on a cold L.A. night.
Pros: Food, Price, Service
Cons: Ambiance, Closed on Sundays

Every once in a while I try out "mysterious" places and this time it was well worth it..
By mysterious, I mean the sign outside had no mention of being Filipino. I had no idea what I was looking at so the owner, a young guy spent a few minutes explaining the dishes: the Jackfruit was excellent, the noodle dish which looked like Pad Thai, was also excellent. I was the last customer and they had no problem with me bringing my bicycle inside and didn't hassle me at all while eating as the crew was mopping up and I could tell most of them were ready to go for the evening....Very friendly and good tasting.
Pros: inexpensive $3.99 for 1 item combo; $5.99 for 2 item combo
Cons: none

This place should have much higher ratings than it has. We were a party of 6 and had the multiple orders of the galbi and bulgogi. Galbi is the best here. Orders are pretty large so you can share (we ordered 5 meat items for the 6 of us). The location, especially the so-called valet, is rather shady looking, but the food is worth it.
Pros: Galbi
Cons: Location, shady valet

"I knew this place for many years. Since this place was opened for 30 years, even my parents knew about it. They have variety of food from Japanese, to American. Sushi is really fresh, and I was surprised when there was American breakfast on the menu at first. Good customer service, and I am willing to come back here to get Mitsuru specials for dinner once again!!"
