If you want a cheap suit then come to this place, they are the best for cheap suits. They are only open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday though so come on one of those days or you'll be sorry. Basically you can get a good looking suit for a couple hundred dollars or cheaper if you want to go with a cheaper suit. I feel that One Night Affair is the best around. I went shopping to so many places and everything looked the same, all the sales people were so pushy, I guess with the way the economy is these days that everyones desperate.
But it was my wedding day and I decided that I wasn't going to just settle.
I came to your store not imagining I would find anything. I was completely amazed with what I found and the service I received and I felt that I had to write a review, which is something I've never done before. I'm so glad I didn't listen to people telling me I needed to keep my wedding gown so I could give it to my daughter, if I had I would have never gone in....what a mistake it would have been and I would have never found the perfect dress (by the way I've never known anyone that has worn their mothers wedding gown). The store has a very cozy feel to it even though it is very large and could be very intimidating. The girls were extremely helpful, especially Kristen (the tall Blonde) She knows her stuff, she's very much to the point and knows what she's talking about. She never came off all complimentary and told me I looked great in everything, she explained what would flatter my figure in the style that I liked and she was right. I found a fabulous gown by the designer "Allure" it's beautiful, and I could have never afforded to actually go out and buy this gown, it's only for one (very special) day and I'll have beautiful pictures to look back at.
I'm thrilled with everyone at One Night Affair and would recommend them to everyone.

I shop on Robertson Blvd time to time to get the latest scoop on trends. I LOVE shopping on this street to add fun trendy pieces to my wardrobe! I walked into AG after Madison and was blown away at the friendly service and all the stylish jeans this store offered. I did'nt realize AG had a full collection and so many styles! I just knew of their Angel and Club but the trendy skinny fits were great. I highly recommend shopping here for jeans. Free alterations on the spot!

Cons: bought more than I expected!

The best kept secret in the industry is that you can rent your wedding dress! In Europe, girls hardly ever buy their dress they rent it. One Night Affair is the only location I have found in LA that does this but it is a great idea. At first I was nervous about it working out, being that you don't get it until a few days before the wedding but I picked it up, tried it on, and everything was great. I love AX clothing, so I have to rate highly for any AX store. This one gets a cut on the star count because of its location - this street is a yucky place to be. But the clothes are always fun, theres always a sales rack in the back, and the salespeople are fun to look at, if nothing else.

Aaardvark's( spelled with 3 AAAs) has moved from it's oringinal location on Melrose Ave to 7566 Melrose ave. It's no longer the corner store on Melrose/ Curson to my surprise. Now it's on the south side of the street on melrose and Curson where Drake's used to be. They still carry one of a kind clothing from original 1920's-30's through the 1980's to contemporary clothing. I love this store because you can find something funky that's one of a kind. The new location is smaller, but cozy. The staff is friendly and helpful to help you find what you need. It makes for a great come back!
