I've stayed here for work many times. I especially like the internet access available in-room. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There are many restaurants in the area to dine at. In the mornings there is an on-site buffet that is very resonable w/great service. They have cookies at the front desk also. One thing to note about Marriot is that they don't provide conditioner, just shampoo.

The Aspen Leaf Motel is pretty much the only game in town! It's really the only motel in Lyons. There are a few bed and breakfasts, and a number of camping sites around, but if you want to have running water and a real bed, you'd have to go here. It's a great location, in the heart of downtown Lyons Colorado, right on Main street. The antique shops that Lyons is known for are all within walking distance, as are some restaurants. The quality is fair, but for the price it's not too bad.

I just completed a 6 month lease at Fox Ridge. While the apartments are nice and the owners are dog friendly, the place does have a few quirks. First, you are better off trying to repair something yourself then getting maintenance to respond. I submitted a work order for some bad outlets in December and they were not repaired when I left at the end of March.
The other major issue has to do with the heating system. In some units the heater is painfully noisy. It produces a high pitched noise that will literally wake you at 4 in the morning. Maintenance tired to fix the problem from Thanksgiving to February with no success. They finally called in a specialist and determined that nothing could be done. Staff was very accommodating but it did not make up for the noise factor. You may want to consider all options before signing on with Fox Ridge.
