Our dishes were 'unidentifiable'. Everything was smothered in a viscous brown goo. Couldn't eat it and had to immediately find something else to cover up the putrid taste left in our mouths. I'm from Texas and know what mexican food is. This isn't. I've never reviewed any other restaurant but I felt so strongly that this one needs a warning buoy.

We just moved here from Virginia, and being a huge Mexican food fan, I was ready to find my new favorite place to eat. We went to 3 Margarita's and were disappointed. But then one day my co-worker suggested we go there for a quick lunch. She recommended the beef chimichanga, so I ended up trying the chicken chimi - OMG...DELISH! Also, their green chile is so spicy, so if you want it a little less spicy be sure to tell them. The place is fabulous - I want to go back once a week for it! Besides being incredibly delicious, it's affordable too. Give it a shot if you haven't already - you'll be looking forward to going back! :)

Ok... so there is nothing special here. You could make all there stuff at home. And while the food is ok to good, the service SUCKS!! They should just to to go boxes rather than subject people to horrible service.
Here's some suggestion for the wait staff
1) Wipe the table down BEFORE you seat people.
2) Check on your people more than to take their order.
3) If you mess up the order DO NOT TRY TO CONVINCE PEOPLE THAT WHAT YOU SERVED IS BETTER BECAUSE IT IS MORE EXPENSIVE. I didn't order it, I don't want it.
4) If you serve cafeteria style, I will tip cafeteria style.
Peace

Efrain's has a large menu of traditional mexican and southwestern dishes. But if you're looking for authentic green chile, this is the place to get it on the front range. None of this anemic, gelatinous goo the other places dribble over their fare. This is the real deal, with chunks of lean pork in a flavorful, roasted green chile sauce packing plenty of heat. Put out the fire with fresh made tortillas and perfectly mixed margueritas.

If you want hearty and delicious Mexican food, THIS IS THE PLACE! Spicy, tasty green chile. Perfect house Margaritas. The chicken chimichanga is highly recommended. Delicious rice.
It is very affordable, and I have never left Efrain's hungry. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Pros: large portions, tasty food, delicious margaritas!
Cons: My wife won't let me eat there daily
