WunderBar promises an authentic taste of Germany in LIC.
With wooden floors, and long, communal tables for socializing and sharing, the decor and ambience replicates the true German dining style. The menu features an extensive array of traditional German food like wursts, spaetzle, and schnitzel. For large groups, they offer the WunderBar Haus Special, which includes 10 grilled wurst sausages, your choice of two sides, mustard, and bread. No German restaurant should be without beer, however, and WunderBar boasts brews like Weihenstephan Hefe Weiss, Hofbrauhaus Lager, Radeberger Pils, Krusovice Pils, and Hofbrauhaus Dunkel. Bottled beer and mini kegs are also available. One special highlight is The Boot, a glass formed into the shape of a boot. Live rock bands are showcased on some Saturday nights.
