Good: service, quality & price Best bakery in the country. We never miss going to the Cottage when we go to Long beach. They have the freshest bread & pastries made from scratch with natural ingredients. I've been going there since 1987! Wish we lived closer so we could buy ALL our bakery items at the Cottage!. Bad: I have never found anything I didn't like at the Cottage bakery in Long Beach,WA.. Improvements: more cinnamon raisin bread! More seating to eat the goodies we buy.. Other: Cottage Bakery has done special orders for me since 1987 & I've always been very happy. They did my wedding cake, I've called ahead & ordered cakes for my husbands Birthday & he's bought Birthday cakes for me. the Red Velvet Birthday cake last week was tottally dlicious & hope we can get another one. When I eat their bread I don't have a sneezing spell within 5-10 minutes after eating! Must be the natural ingredients, no junk like in factory bread!. more

owners too cheap and money grubbing to take credit or debit cards; no hours posted on the door or front windows; continually trying to pass off week old pastries as fresh, particularly the cookies; inside of bakery looks like a memorial to George Bush, yuk...owners too cheap to pay employees decent salary, and on top of that treat them like dirt....this is why the bakery has such a high employee turnover..... more

Spent the weekend, ate pastries 2 days in a row! My kids loved them and the fritters and the cream cheese croissants were excellent! I would recommend to stop by and eat there! Oh and people were friendly too... more

The younger lady at the counter was very rude to my wife talking to her like she was an idiot for not seeing the sign that said orders taken here. My wife, sister in law and I were wondering where you order, the clerk said in a rude voice ( we are down here!?!?) my wife said sorry we did not see the sign we are not from around here. The clerk then said (you mean you did not see the like 6 signs that are posted!?!?). People like that should not be working in customer service and with so many others out there looking for a job they should replace her with someone that actually cares. more

The Cottage Bakery, located in the heart of downtown Long Beach, WA, makes the best sandwiches in town at the best price in town. The bread is fresh (literally right out of the oven). The meat is sliced to order. The portions are amazing. It is possible to get food to go or eat in. Staying inside is a great option, because the huge case full of wonderful pastries, pies, cookies and much much more is right in front of the seating area, so you can think about dessert while enjoying your sandwich! Many of our friends make the Cottage Bakery their last stop as they head for home, so that they can take a selection of bread and goodies with them. Prices are more than reasonable, especially considering the quality and excellence of the products offered. more
