Not really a big fan of the venue. It's out of the way for Los Angeles people, and it's a pretty old arena. I will say the arena is located in a nicer area than Staples Center though. The floor is quite large, and every time I've been on the floor I've had to deal with mosh pits galore, crowd surfers, being squished with my fellow fans. I can imagine someone can literally die/be seriously injured in the midst of the large crowd on the floor. If you decide you don't wanna deal with that, you'll unfortunately be quite far away. The seats aren't any better since they're quite far from the stage as well.

The Long Beach Arena is Long Beach is a pretty big and decent stadium where the Long Beach Ice Dogs play as well as concert performers. We went here two times before and is scheduled to see the Killers in October. They have seats on the balcony area and general admission on the floor level. Stadium food is the same everywhere which means not good but the arena is located on Ocean Blvd in the LBC so there are a number of good restaurants nearby. Overall, this arena is pretty decent and I do not mind coming here to catch my favorite bands.
