"I love Elan!! I first discovered this hidden gem off 4th street during one of retro row's "art walks" on the last Saturday of the month. The atmosphere in this store was so festive and inviting that it drew me in and held me for over an hour. Even if you can't get free wine every night of the week there, you can certainly enjoy the bubbly banter of the owner and her friends. And I haven't even mentioned the merchandise! Each glance gives way to another novel piece of art, furniture or knick knack. I scored some awesome vintage necklaces for only $10 each and a sleek martini shaker/ice bucket matched set for about $30. Everything was very reasonably priced; sometimes the prices can be daunting at these retro shops, but not so at Elan. When I upgrade to a bigger apartment, you can be sure I'll head straight here for affordable, stylish furniture and maybe even one of the many wild light fixtures adorning the store. Make Elan your destination on 4th and I promise you won't be disappointed!!"
Pros: Great prices, delightful owner, unusual, stylish pieces
Cons: Around the corner on St Louis, right off of 4th... you have to follow the sign!

Really cool place. Perfected the "bachelor pad".
I just moved into a new place and needed to deck it out. **NOTE** I hate shopping at IKEA (nor do I want IKEA products in my living room), I don't have time for Estate Sales and I haven't won the lotto yet. So what the hell do I do...
Well...fortunately there's the Elan Collection...
The prices are very reasonable and the quality is exceptional. Deborah, the store owner, is very helpful and extremely sweet. She's also very knowledgable about antiques, and most of the pieces she has in her store. Deborah is now my resource. She's my new Ask dot com. (Sorry, can't write a web address in here).
There's so many neat things throughout the place and what's really cool is that there is constantly new "collections" coming in all the time. I've bought some killer pieces from this place like a table, some black and white wall hangings, and a couple other little gadgets from Elan.
Whenever my friends need anything for there place or a gift I always refer them to the Elan Collection.
I HIGHLY recommend stopping by.
Pros: Customer Service, Quality Products, Consignment
Cons: None
