Great food. Have been going for over 3 years. Ask for the server Luis. The best in the house. The buffet is great and tons to choose from. Great for kids or a romantic dinner, or just a good restaurant. Service is great. Meat is hot and again, alot to choose from. Desserts are also good. Not too pricey. Wonderful for meat lovers. Every guest we bring loves it and wants to go again and again!

I have been eating at Papalucci's for 16 years and absolutely love it. It all started when we lived in Long Beach and would get there early so we could beat the crowds. Now that I live in San Diego, I still manage to get back here at least once a month for lunch. The garlic rolls are to die for, but my favorite is the simple preparation of their pasta with olive oil, garlic, parsley and red pepper. I've had that dish many places, but few do it as well as Papalucci. The service is always great. The prices are reasonable. And now they take credit cards as well! What's not to love?

Everytime I've been to this place, the atmosphere has knocked me out. I feel like I'm in the middle of Mardi Gras while I'm enjoying my very tasty meal. They serve traditional American fare, but the desserts are to die for. I think that's the real draw.
