i am new to knitting. a good friend of mine suggested this store as a great place to go for knitting supplies. i was hesitant because i read the previous review for it and it didn't seem like the place for me to start. i did however follow my friend's advice and am so happy i did. not only does this store have an amazing selection of various knitting supplies, but the employees were incredibly helpful, kind and knowledgeable. it is a bit of a drive for me, but it was totally worth it. they also offer classes at various levels, which i am excited to try out. i would recommend this store to anyone who loves knitting. i hope it's as great of an experience for you as it was for me!

C/M School Supply is a fully stocked store that has everything and anything a teacher would need to keep their classes busy. The store has a childrens area with toys for play and a friendly, helpful staff that is more than willing to help you find whatever items you are looking for. The prices are somewhat high which is disappointing, considering what teachers are paid but the selection of items offsets the cost somewhat.

California State University Long Beach is the best school around. I am currently a student at California State University Long Beach. This is my second year there. I love and proud to be a student of California State University Long Beach because they offer the best business program around. The campus is very clean and beautiful. They have great scenery. I would recommend it to everyone who is looking for a college.

LBCC is the community college in Long Beach. They have two campuses in LB. One on PCH and the other is on Carson near Lakewood, CA. Majority of the students attend classes at the Carson Campus, mainly because the bulk of classes are there and the PCH campus has a bad rep. Yeah it's an older campus, but it has a lot to offer. Over the next year they are building more buildings at the PCH campus. They'll be more classes and more services. I've taken classes there b4 and I like it because it's not compact like it's sister campus. There is alot of space and trust me people will eventually take notice, but if you read this review take the opportunity to look into this campus.

Everyone here was professional, from the person I first spoke to on the phone, to the receptionist, to the pilot/trainer -- which was good because it inspired confidence that my lesson was going to be safe and that I would actually learn something while I was at it. I took a 30-60 intro lesson and was surprised by how much of the flight time I was actually in control of the helicopter -- with my trainer of course. All in all, a good experience, and fun enough that I will probably pursue more.

I'm going into my senior year at the school, in their pace program. this is a great school in the region, offering more AP classes and having more students take them in the district. Even though it is a public school, it can compete with private schools in admissions to UCs and other prestigious colleges. There are different academies, PACe being the highest with about 200 students per grade year (9 - 12), for about 800 students out of the total of 4000+. Atheletics and music are reknown as well. The Athletics department was awarded the best in the nation in 2004-5 by Sports Illustrated. If you are considering a school, Poly is great, especially if you are interested in a magnet program. However, it is pretty competitive.
