I have been going to Alaina for about a year now and she is by far the best stylist I have been to. I started going to her because she worked downstairs from my office in Los Angeles, and when she moved to Belmont Shores I followed her there. I have gotten so many compliments on my cut and color since seeing Alaina and will not go to anyone else. I just recently went to see her for a trim but told her my idea about cutting my hair short, she helped me decide on what style would be best for me and pulled out her look book to help me decide. I decided to go much shorter and darker and I LOVE it. She is amazing. She is so fun, happy and friendly and I love going to see her every month. I would recommend Alaina to anyone that loves to look good and feel good about their hair. She is awesome.

I started going to Alaina when I got her by chance at the school she trained at in Ohio. I was hooked from her first work on me, I could not believe that she was a student and not an instructor! She is a natural artist, does beautiful color and awesome haircuts. Imagine how upset I was when she moved to California! I miss here terribly but wish her nothing but the best. If you get a chance to go to Alaina do not hesitate, she'll make you look great!

Okay, so Alaina really listens to you. I called last minute and she immediately offered for me to come by so she could consult with me. The color, the cut is the best I've received in a very long time. I mean the fact that she has: a) A degree in art b) Been cutting hair since she was 8? c) Is / constantly going to classes to get new training! This woman knows what she is doing and besides, the most pleasant attitude I've met. She is a prize.

Alaina cut and colored my hair. I am naturally blonde but wanted to color my hair a very dark brown....needless to say, I was very worried about how it would turn out. I am happy to report - it's perfect!! In addition, Alaina cut my hair just as I asked her to. With other hair professionals, I described the type of hair cut I preferred but walked out of the salon with something completely different. Alaina knew what type of cut would compliment my features and provided excellent suggestions. I left the salon feeling and looking fantastic!

Alaina has been doing my hair for about a year now. She used to work in LA but now she's down in Long Beach....it's a bit of a drive for me, but I had to follow her! She is the BEST at cutting and coloring! Strangers have come up to me to ask where I get my hair done (and only since I started seeing this chic)- I won't trust anyone else! If you want someone who knows her stuff, go see Alaina. She's super sweet and just the best!

I just had to write a review...my pedicure lasted for over a month! Better than other "quick" shops that barely last you walking out the door, much less to the end of a week. Everyone is so nice in there and it's nice to actually be involved in the conversations, not listening to it in another language. Very engaging, great service. I'm telling all my friends they must go! Give it a try and you'll see. I went from getting my toes done every 2 weeks to once a month or 1 1/2 months. Saving money which is key too! Pros: flexible hours, great attitudes, professional
