I live a few miles away and I will always take my car here for a diagnosis at least. I have had stuff repaired in the past and always get great service. My service rep this last round was named Victor. He is very pleasant and informative over the phone. I have had a good experience with this Repair Shop. And they were very understanding that I have decided to perform the repairs myself. Some shops will do anything to make you stay.

took both my sister's camero adnd my honda to them. they didn't do the test onteh engine before charging me $360 ro replace hoses there was a head gasket leak they said was just a hose.. car over heated blew heads.. they wanted to have me replace the engine with them.. also horrible shoddy work on my sister's car as well. I brought an old utility truck (not worth $1500) in for an oil change and to check out a leak. They came back with over $2000 worth of repairs. I laughed and had them fix the leak ($300). I took the truck home and coincidentally my truck did not start the next morning because my alternator mysteriously went out. Under warranty, they towed it back to the shop and said that it would cost me another $450. My choices were to donate it or have them fix it, which is what I chose. But even more insulting, they tried to sell me up again with another $1200 of new and additional repairs. Funny thing is that the truck was running fine when I pullled into the shop for the oil change. My problem with their conduct was that they knew the truck was not worth much, but they continued to look me in the eye and tell me that I should get the proposed repairs because of how nice my truck was. Their persistent sell-up tactic is annoying and insulting.

This place rocks! Ive been going here for a long time and theyve always helped me out. Theyre service is exceptional, do quality work, are competent, honest and fair. Ive always worked on my own cars, but dont have the time anymore so I can tell when someone knows what tey are talking about! Ive tried a couple other shops in the long beach area and they all tried to BS about repairs that are "needed". I know how hard it is to find a good mechanic and know that once you have one you need to keep them. i would highly recommend them to anyone needed repair. Pros: fast, reliable, honest, fair Cons: theyre not right around the corner from me!
