I've only been in the store once, but it was awesome my kids had a ball playing and the sales lady helped me find some really good games for my kids and they love to play them! I can't wait to go back I didn't even get to look at half of the store the first time. You may pay a little more money than you would for a Walmart toy but you are getting a lot better quality and usually educational toy!

The first time I visited this store I had my 2 year old daughter with me. I was trying to keep her from handling everything and the salesman (who it turns out was the owner) instructed me that children are allowed and expected to play freely in his store. I have also gone in with my husband, who is equally entranced with the toys and the two of us delighted in the chance to indulge our inner child. Last Christmas I did my toy shopping at Magical Moon Toys versus previous years shopping at the big box stores and online. They carry a wonderful selection of toys in all genres, ages, and prices. I had been looking into the popular Melissa & Doug wooden toys online. I felt I hit the jackpot to be able to go right into the store, see the items firsthand, pay the same affordable price and no shipping. I asked one of the salesgirls what they carried as far as the rugs or mats with town scenes for driving toy cars on. She told me that they didn't carry any at the current time because none of the mats on the market were sturdy and stable enough to meet the Owners standards. She went on to recommend a good alternative. I was really impressed at her knowledge of the products and their quality. I will do my toy shopping here from now on. Hooray for Magical Moon Toys!

Magical Moon Toys is right next to Walmart stop here first before you go to Walmarts toy section. Magical Moons toys are educational, different, and surprisingly not too expensive. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They have games, marbles, instruments, and all sorts of unique toys that I dont see anywhere else in town, like potato pellet toy guns. Its definitely worth a stop.

If you're looking for that different toy that they don't carry at Walmart, this is the place. But, along with the good comes the bad. The price isnt' going to be what you find at a walmart. The store has a cluttered feel. However, they have lots of the toys out for demonstration so you can actually take your kids in and let them play with the toy so you can make sure that you're getting what you think you're getting and that they'll like it.
