The Logan Recreation Center is a great place to work out. The admission and membership prices are very reasonable. The facilities are kept up nicely and the building is generally not very crowded during open hours. They have basketball courts, racquetball courts and a new weight room. The biggest problem is that it operates in conjunction with Logan High School so the hours are very strange and frustrating. If you are willing to deal with the odd hours then the Rec Center is a great place to go to get fit. They also offer a lot of classes.

The Logan Recreational Center is my gym of choice. They have a ton of racquetball courts, so you’ll usually find one free. They also have several basketball courts and an upstairs track where you can watch people play basketball while you run. The track is really small so you feel like you’re running really fast. They have a variety of yoga and aerobic classes to take. The prices are much lower than the Sports Academy. They only problem is that they close off sections of the building to the public during certain school hours (Logan High School uses it). It’s also darker and older than the Sports Academy. They have a new weight room and a private women’s weight room and hot tub.
