I really enjoying shopping at Savers for unique bargains. They represent a big improvement over most area thrift stores because their clothing is categorized roughly by garment type, color and size. This makes it soo much easier to find what you are looking for and skip the rest. The prices are sometimes a bit higher than thrift store prices, but the improved organization is worth it. Dressing rooms are available, though not always clean. The books and housewares departments can be hit-or-miss, but are worth a glance.

The Savers in Littleton is the kind of thrift store you have nightmares about. I’ve been in there twice: once when my mom and I were just in the area, and once when we were searching for furniture for my new place. The first time the place smelled so bad that I could have sworn someone donated a dead animal, and the second time – when I wasn’t chased out immediately by the smell – I was appalled at the poor quality of the things they had. Their furniture in particular was ratty and looked as though it had been around quite a bit. The atmosphere of Savers is also not one that appeals to me, as it seems so cold and sterile (except for the odor problem).

Ahh Savers...this place is the absolute best place for those young teenagers who are always on low budgets and want to get some good clothes. Savers has a wide selection of band t-shirts, t-shirts with sayings and jackets. the place has the best prices out of any thrift store in Denver/Littleton area. i just bought an ACDC shirt from there for 49 cents. so like i said, if your looking for rock and punk clothing for a cheap price, savers is the place for you!!
